FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How to prepare
All sessions offered byJade Marshall Photography are laid back, worry-free experiences. The amount of preparation is completely up to you, although I suggest the dog be groomed and clean for their photoshoot!
I would advise bringing along a leash depending on the rules of the location. An assistant is extremely helpful if available as well. Most definitely bring along their favorite toy, frisbee, and/or ball that they can interact with, as well as some treats of choice!
What location and time
When it comes to shooting in natural backdrops, we can discuss some good locations for dog portraits in your area. Any places with open areas like trails and parks work really well!
Time wise, the best lighting is early morning at sunrise or late afternoons around sunset. Shooting in mid afternoon can produce a harsh lighting that I would never recommend, so I always book my sessions at the beginning or the end of the day. Keep in mind that these hour to two hour long sessions will take up ALL the good lighting, so I’m only able to do one every morning or evening.
Getting your Photos
21-28 days after your photoshoot you will be sent your photographs. Clients will be emailed their Digital images to download and choose their favourite images which will then be emailed out as High Resolution files.
Can I post on social media
I highly encourage you share images with your friends! Credit is preferred but not required. If you'd like to credit, tag Jade Marshall - Equine Photography on Facebook or @jademarshall_photography on Instagram.
Digital Images and High Resolution Images
Digitals and High resolution images are included in every session package that I offer! I love being able to give clients the ability to share their images with friends and family online. The digitals you receive are considered ‘digital proofs’ only and will be sent with my logo on them for social media use only. These images are not permitted to be printed. High Resolution images are your favourite images that you chose out of the digital images. These images come without my logo; you can print them any size you like, as many times as you like. These images are yours for life so make sure you save them somewhere safe!
Can I order prints of my images
Yes you can order prints through me! Every session package come with High Resolution images for you to print out yourself, however if you would like me to order for you just let me know. I will recommend places I trust for you to print, to ensure great service and quality prints!
Payment
Payment is required in full prior to your photoshoot. Please use your surname as reference on the banking details.
